Armoured cars guard prison. / Fierce battles between rioters and troops broke out in Madrid and other Sapanish centres when it bacame known that the Left parties had gained the majority in the general elections. Mobs stormed through the streets of the capital demanding the reléase of political prisoners and a State of Alarm was declared.
