El diestro con las manos juntas por encima de su cabeza, es captado en el momento de introducir los arpones de los rehiletes en el cerviz del cárdeno astado. Las barandas de los palcos adornadas con mantones presiden la plaza que acoge al público madrileño entregado a los lances del torero. En la lejanía de la arena, junto a la barrera, se ve a otro diestro esperando su momento de entrar en faena</abstract>
